Nestled in the heart of Tronadora, this is the ultimate serene retreat back to nature. With two separate units on 3/4 acres of land, it’s an ideal base for multi-generational families who want to enjoy a Costa Rican stay together while still enjoying some private time. You won’t tire of the views of Lake Arenal and Arenal Volcano or the sound of nature in the trees. This home enjoys a main floor master suite with a King-size bed and an ensuite bath. There is an additional half-bath on the same floor. A loft upstairs with a reclining sofa and chairs overlooks the main floor and also has a queen-size bed with a pull-out queen-size trundle. With a separate entry and driveway, the property features a complete guest suite with a king-size bed and an en-suite bath on the lower-level walkout. The home features two king-size beds and two queen-size beds, with the option of an additional rollaway cot, allowing it to accommodate up to 9 guests in total. You will have the entire home and the lower guest suite to yourself, as well as access to all the community gathering Center, "The Hive," and community amenities. There are two separate driveways at this home, providing enough parking for up to four cars. Allowing others to use our homes will enable us to travel around the country. Although we may not be on-site during your visit, we are available by text and phone at any time. We have helpers in the community who can assist if a need arises that requires someone on-site. As part of a gated community, you can feel safe and secure. Locally, there’s also pickleball, kayaking, boating, horseback riding, biking, hot springs, and river rafting within easy reach – there really is something for everyone here. However, we have had guests who came without one, and we can recommend driving services to get you out and about as needed. We are just 3 miles from the picturesque town of Tronadora, home to one of the most beautiful parks in Guanacaste. Here, you can find everything you need, including a grocery store, butcher, bakery, liquor store, two restaurants, and a bar for those looking for nightlife. It is an easy 1.5-hour drive from Liberia Airport and 3 hours from San Jose. If you arrive in San Jose with less than 3 hours of daylight, we recommend staying near the airport and getting a fresh start in the morning. Most roads are paved but not well-marked, with many twists and turns. We have plenty of parking areas.
