A vehicle is recommended should you decide to visit us. However, we have had guests who came without one, and we can recommend driving services to get you out and about as needed. We are only 3 miles from the picturesque town of Tronadora, with the prettiest park in Guanacaste. Here, you can find everything you need, including a grocery store, butcher, bakery, liquor, two restaurants, and a bar for those looking for nightlife. It is an easy 1.5-hour drive from Liberia Airport and 3-4 hours from San Jose depending on traffic. If you arrive in San Jose with less than 3 hours of daylight, we recommend staying near the airport and getting a fresh start in the morning. Most roads are paved but not well-marked, with many twists and turns. We have plenty of parking areas. This community has 24-hour gated access. On-site security provides peace of mind that you and your belongings will be safe and secure. The community is gated, so security will initially grant you access.
